Availability errors usually hide at variant level. A product can look in stock while the exact size or color submitted to Google is sold out, unpublished in a market, set to continue selling, or rendered differently to Google's crawler.

Shopify admin > Products > product > variant inventory and sales-channel availability
Google expects the submitted availability to match the purchase state on the landing page. An in-stock offer should be purchasable, while an out-of-stock offer should clearly show that state. Shopify inventory, Continue selling when out of stock, fulfillment behavior, sales-channel publication, markets, variant URLs, and delayed synchronization can change the result.
Keep the item ID, variant, target country, currency, and observation time aligned while troubleshooting.

Writing 'in stock' in the theme does not make an unavailable variant purchasable and can create a more serious contradiction.
A variant can be available globally in Shopify admin but unavailable to the target market or unsupported by the fulfillment location used for that destination.
The browser checker recognizes common Merchant Center messages without connecting or storing account data.
Open error checkerThe exact variant, market, fulfillment location, publication state, or rendered buy-button behavior can differ from the parent product's overall inventory. Compare the affected item ID and selected variant directly.
Only when the merchant genuinely accepts those orders and the landing page clearly supports that purchase state. Do not change inventory policy solely to remove a diagnostic.
